“But we found out very quickly through social media that we were beaten.” With two tours scheduled to start simultaneously in October, ticket sales have been so strong that many venues around the country are already sold out, with more to follow.
“For example, we are two nights before Christmas at the Waterfront Theater in Belfast Wharf. It has a capacity of 2,500 people and one night is already sold out. I am not exaggerating when I say that we get cheers after every show.

“We encourage the audience to sing along because it’s their Christmas.” But there is a danger. There have been many recent stories of concerts being ruined for many in the audience when over-enthusiastic performers blocked a singer from the stage.
Ged knows tricks. “Our show is deliberately designed with songs and songs based on musical numbers because that way you can change the audience.
With two trips at once, it can be a nightmare. “I was on the show in 2021 and 2022 as a main singer and speaker, but this time I won’t be doing the show. I will divide my time between the two tours, making sure everything goes according to plan.”
