Lance: As a first dog, I didn’t know what to expect. Maybe he was a little more shy than I thought, but I was myself at the time.
Angus: How brave he is! He will literally play with anyone who will pay attention to him. He was not afraid.
Are Lance & Angus like most of the rest of King Charles of Spain’s cavalry, or do they have unique characteristics?

Lance: I think it’s a little different than the others. He is a very gentle soul whose life is a little slower than expected from this breed.
I watch them grow and achieve amazing feats in our chosen sport. I love taking them to events and watching them bring joy to others and myself.
If I had to choose… because of other people’s snobbish lifestyles, the urge for human contact can be difficult for them to sustain.
Lance: Take it home. He is about 7 months old. He wasn’t quite sure what was going on and it took him about a day to figure it out. I remember feeling so sad for him, but we connected instantly and are now inseparable.
