The Google Authentication Provider requires a project in the Google API Console to manage user authentication and authorization. The following steps guide you through creating a project, generating OAuth credentials, and configuring a provider to connect to your project.
Google Authentication — Atlas App Services
To connect your Google Cloud project to App Services, add the OAuth 2.0 client ID and client secret you created in the previous step to your authentication provider configuration.

Choice. A list of fields describing authentic users that your application will request from the Google Identity API. When the user completes the authentication process with Google, the App Service redirects the user back to the specified redirect URI, or, if no redirect URI is specified, to the URL that initiated the authentication request. App Services redirects users only to URIs that exactly match entries in this list, including protocol and trailing slashes.
Choice. List of approved domains for user accounts. If specified, the provider will check the domain of the user’s primary email address with Google and allow authentication only if the domain matches an entry in this list. For example, if example1.com and example2.com are listed, a Google user with a primary email of joe.mango@example1.com will be allowed to sign in, and a user with a primary email of joe.mango@ example3 get permission to sign in. com is not allowed to login. Note If you are setting domain restrictions, you must also require an email address field in your metadata field settings.
Choice. The default is false. If true, the provider uses OpenID Connect to authenticate the user. ImportOpenID Connect support depends on the SDK. Refer to the SDK documentation for OpenID Connect support. Not all Google Authentication SDK implementations support OpenID Connect, but others require it. NoteOpenID Connect does not support metadata fields. Google supports OpenID as part of its OAuth 2.0 implementation, but does not provide access to a limited scope for OpenID authentication. This means that App Services cannot access metadata fields for users authenticated with OpenID Connect.

Our journey down the path of Generative AI began, but little did we know it would be the start of an amazing adventure. With a reliable team, we have done our best to share information and motivate people on this path. To make it easier for students to register, we have also recorded a video detailing the entire process. The response from the student community exceeded our expectations. There were so many enthusiastic students that the number of students who registered on the Generative AI course reached 197 people.
Realization hits us like a wave. This is the start of something special. The large number of participants boosts our confidence and we are confident that we will achieve the success of stage 1. Students study diligently and complete the course, making the university laboratory a hub of active exploration under the guidance of our team.
But let me tell you, the trip was no walk in the park. Managing a lab for a group of enthusiastic students has its own challenges.
