Honestly, I think that’s what I went through. I can play and practice with my methodology and refine it over time. I’ve looked at what works, what doesn’t, what tools I should use, etc., and I want to pass the same tips on to you.
But ProLab is expensive, so for our purposes in this post, we’ll use Game of Thrones Active Directory (GOAD), which you can run locally and apply the basics learned in the OSEP course. You’ll need about 100 gigs of free space and about 32 gigs of RAM, but even that’s not a necessity (you can turn off virtual machines you’re not using to save RAM). If you want to stay current and use a vulnerable AD environment that is easy to configure, GOAD is a great solution. I will use it here to illustrate the setup and Sliver tips that helped me pass the exam.
